Nissan zero-emission pratnership with Mexico City

The Renault-Nissan Alliance and The Mexico City Government announced a partnership that will introduce the Nissan LEAF in the capital city in 2011. Mexico City will be the first city in Latin America to receive the LEAF. Renault-Nissan Alliance has signed more than 30 agreements worldwide to launch its first fully electric vehicle in 2010 and to market a range of electric vehicles by 2012. The five door, five passenger, hatch back will be the first electric zero-emission car will be the first launched in this agreement. The objective of the alliance is to rank among the worlds top 3 vehicle manufactures in quality, technology, and profitability. Renault-Nissan Alliance was founded March 27th 1999 this year will mark their 10th anniversary.
