Zero meission partnership with Geangzhou Municipality
This Renault-Nissan Alliance, the people's government of Guangzhou Municipality and Dongfeng Motor Company announced a partnership to promote the use of zero emission vehicles in Guangzhou City.Monday, November 23, 2009
Nissan CVT Warranty Extension
Nissan has extended the Nissan New Vehicle Limited Warranty for the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to 10 years/120,000 miles (whichever occurs first) for CVT transmission repairs, replacement, and related towing on all 2003-2010 model year Nissan vehicles equipped with the CVT. The remainder of the powertrain warranty coverage for components other than the CVT transmission remains unchanged. All other warranty terms, limitations and conditions otherwise apply.
Please note that this is not a safety recall, and there are no safety issues relating to your Continuously Variable Transmission.

2010 pricing for Nissan Cube
Nissan North America, Inc. announced pricing for the 2010 Nissan Cube today, which is on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide. The Cube is available in four models: cube 1.8, cube 1.8 S, cube 1.8 SL and the special cube 1.8 S Krom Edition. The MSRP for the 1.8 base model is unchanged from 2009. Nissan Scholarship Competition
Nissan launched a Nissan LEAF zero emission student competition on the 16th of November. The scholarship competition will allow university and collage student to express how the Nissan LEAF inspires them to make a better zero emission future. Students can join the competition through the Nissan Facebook page by clicking the green 2010 tab. One student from each participating university will selected as a winner based on creativity, originality and relevance to the theme. The winning students will be announced at the end of the LEAF zero emissions tour and will receive a $500 scholarship.zero emission vehicle agrement
On November 13th the Renault- Nissan Alliance have made an agreement to advance zero emission mobility in the United States with Reliant Energy of Houston Texas. Reliant Energy is one of the major electricity providers in the nation. October Sales Announced
Nissan North America Inc. reported sales for October 2009 at 60,115 units, an increase of 5.6 percent compared to October 2008 where 56,945 units were sold. Nissan division sales rose 7.7 percent while Infiniti vehicle sales were 9.3 percent lower than a year ago.- Nissan vehicle sales in October are 53,664 units. thats a 7.7 percent increase compared to October of last years sales at 49,833 units.
- A sales increase of 97.2 percent for the Nissan Armada, 67.6 percent increase for the Titan and a 48 percent increase in sales for the Frontier. Nissan Sentra sales increased 39.3 percent the 370z sales rose 59.1 percent and the Maxima sales increased 5.8 percent.
- October 2009 Infiniti sales were 6,451 units a drop in 9.3 percent from last years sales of 7,112 units.
- G Coupe sales rose 45.6 percent compared with last year in October 2008.
- The Infiniti QX56 posted sales at a 42.6 percent increase last month.
